I really hope this is intended as a two way joke

Since dear god do i hate audiophiles and the one in your flash comes off far far worse... and this is coming from a guy who just spent the day in the studio where we were laying down high middle and low guitar tracks for left and right and had 3 different tone tracks for the bass. Past a point the fidelity of a recoding isn't that important, it's fine to enjoy it and prefer to listen to it but to presume that you have to listen to it to understand or enjoy music is idiotic.... you know what's funny? very very few of the musician and people in bands that i've met over the years are the annoying audiophiles, cept some people in awful awful indy bands.

As for guitarhero who cares? it can be fun and is another way to get joy out of music and if people get obsessive they are annoying as any other obsessive... at leed festival a group of us (all in bands) ended up on the guitar hero stage and we did rock out just as we would do live... rocking out is a term about putting on a stage show, you can be on stage playing music and not rock... and you know what? it was fun, the people watching enjoyed it, we enjoyed it, and it's me laugh that it seems to be mostly people not in bands that get pissed off by people who play it.

In terms of your flash it was your typical minimalist style that gets it humour mostly from the voice track. If this was intended as a stab at both sides then I think that it dose it well... if it wasn't intended as that and you are in fact one of those annoying audiophiles then it was done badly since, like i said, it works better as stabs at both sides.

Very good

But the animation of the figures was a little stiff. The way the main characters upper body didn't move at all when she ran felt a little unnatural and was a tad distracting. Which is a shame given how well done the rest of the animation and art is. Short and sweet and very good for what you set out to do.

but i would say that flash is not he program you should have used to make this. Flash is god awful with bitmapped images, you would have been far better of in terms of the look and quality of the animation if you'd done it in after effects... other than that its ok... the voice acting need to be more clear but other than that it was enjoyable enough

I still have the same question i've had since the first one... why? there is simply nothing in this flash that could not have looked better in a real time film. I understand the point is that its not a real time film but just useing stop frame in this way is of no direct value (its basicly nothing more than film shot with a low frame rate) and in that sense you have to do somthing intresting with it to warent its use. You don't. I've seen some amamzing and fun things done in this way and there is a lot of room to be creative with it... there is a whole range of creative things you could have done and you use non of them.... so my question is still why? you've put a huge ammout of work in to doing somthing bland that would have looked better with far less work...

Just beatiful man... a really well put togather bit of story telling let alone flash... as with all these i still feel the stick men detract rather than add to the style but i understand why you made the choice. I just think that the plot line and a lot of the ways your working are very anime inspired and could be almost perfect if we had 'anime' people rather than stick men. That would add years of work time so i think i can let you off hehe but really tense with a wonderful unquie atmospher i can't wait for the rest

[The History of Animation]

Right.... well...

For a 'History of Animation' you have been able to miss out the major and most intresting parts of the animation history, skiping over complety the early animashion tests and ideas... i mean i'm not even going to start listing the imporent animashions and animators you've missed, on which everything else you talked about was based... On the history of american based mainstream cartoons you did end up doing an ok job but it would have been so much better if you'd spent more time looking at the roots of animation :)

while the animashion its self is fantastic, i just want to take the time to say that this is not your work and as such should NOT be no your profile, if your freind wanted the animashion on newgrounds she should have created a proflie (or have you do it for her) and uploaded it there... there is no reasion for you to have this on your profile... and how are we to know if this wins a prize this month tha the womens who work it is will get it? or do we just have your word. I just simply don't like to see other peoples work on some ones profile....
